Program
Here’s how one of our newspaper
subscription program works:
XYZ company's sales teams sell
discounted newspaper subscriptions
at special events and door-to-door.
New subscribers now have the
opportunity to purchase a discounted
subscription and an XYZ coupon book
as a "combo deal".
The local
newspapers pay a
commission to DTS
for every new
discounted
subscription sold
under this program.
DTS forwards the
commission to XYZ
(minus a small
administrative fee).
XYZ promotes and
manages and tracks
subscription sales
at the various event
locations.
DTS ensures that all
subscription orders
sold by its
vendors/partners are
Audit Bureau of
Circulations-compliant
by implementing
internal audits and
randomly visiting
sales teams where
they’re selling.
DTS works with XYZ
and the various
newspapers to
administer and track
the subscription
sales program.
The DTS launch of
its first newspaper
subscription program
is in Southern
California. But this
program can work
wherever local
newspapers and local
businesses want to
partner to grow
circulation and
increase revenue.
